Why the Coates Newcastle Show Is Great Value

With families feeling the pinch, the Coates Newcastle Show is proving you don’t need to leave town to enjoy a massive weekend of entertainment.

Returning to the Newcastle Showground from 27 February to 1 March, the Show delivers hours of included entertainment for one entry price , making it one of the region’s best-value major events.

Headline attractions include the high-adrenaline Friday Night Macka’s Bucking Bull Rodeo, spectacular 9pm fireworks on both Friday and Saturday nights, working dogs, woodchop competitions, agricultural displays and live entertainment running all day across the grounds.

Families can visit the popular Farmyard Nursery, explore competitions inside the Varley Group Exhibition Centre and experience the brand-new Newy-Con pop culture zone.

Carnival rides, showbags and food vendors are available at additional cost and operated by independent providers.
